My passion for video games started way back in the mid 80s and it eventually inspired me to strike out on my own in 2002. What resulted is The Game Galaxy. I've been in the retro games business full time for 25 years now and I have a presense on eBay, Etsy, Mercari and Facebook. Today I do still buy, sell and trade classic video games and accessories, but since 2020 my focus has shifted to cartridge display and preservation.
As many of you do, I love collecting old cartridges from my childhood. But as I grew into middle adulthood I hit a wall: finding a way to protect those loose cartridges without losing the iconic visual magic of original box art. As you know, most of the vintage cardboard boxes don't exist anymore and the few that did survive are insanely expensive. After trying low-grade plastic sleeves and overpriced knockoffs that just didn't cut it, I decided to build the solution myself.
Enter Cart Armor®
Every Cart Armor case I sell is designed, inspected, and packed by me—combining precise cartridge fitting with vivid, high-resolution artwork print quality. I'm not a big warehouse operation; I'm a fellow collector personally making sure your childhood favorites look as legendary on your shelf as they felt to play.
This site is made by a fellow gamer, for fellow gamers. If I can help you with anything at all please reach out using the contact us page or text 208-495-4149.
It is my pleasure to serve you. ✌️
